Wheel Course – 3 Sessions Wed 1 June to 15th June

Learn to make something beautiful on the wheel in your first lesson! $260 for 3 workshop course.

We have 2 pottery wheels in the studio so in this class you will get very good attention from the teacher.

Course comprises of 3 sessions – 2 wheel classes and 1 glazing class. You will be on the wheel nearly the whole time for the first two lessons as we are only taking 2 students in each course. The first 20 minutes will be an orientation to clay and kneading before getting started.

In the first session, you will learning turning, followed by trimming in the 2nd class. The 3rd lesson is a glazing session and you will be taught by our regular studio staff. There will be time in the 3rd lesson to glaze 2 pieces that you have made and we will have fired ready for you to glaze.

We will supply everything you need. You may wish to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit muddy.

After you have completed a wheel course in our studio, you will be able to book in and hire the wheel for your own unsupervised use.
